Ken Gooday is the quiet member of The Meteors - Ken plays 4 string bass guitar with vocals. He has been performing at local festivals and corporate events in various Chicago area bands since 1967 – Most notably with the South side Oldies Rock & Roll Band “Now & Then”. His melodic bass lines, precision timing, and attention to detail, are constant reminders of how proficient Ken is as a bass guitarist. It’s easy to understand why his music sounds so authentic – He has been playing this genre of music for most of his musical career.
